John Lennon used a Rickenbacker 325 in the early days of The Beatles, and the companys electric twelve-string 360/12 model.

It might be an okay beater, but it could equally be a massively overpriced plank. Rickenbacker-360/12 12-String / Electric Guitar w/ HC made in USA. It's the curly tailpiece, so post-lawsuit if it's original, the pic doesn't show the marks/wear on the sides.
